Interestingly, my wife saw another bug which she flushed down the toilet so we encountered 2. I rang guest services and the supervisor or manager got on the phone and suggested that customers bring them in from outside. I was appalled by her lack of empathy without investigation and blaming the customer instead. ...

"We had an absolutely wonderful weekend getaway! The cottage was impeccably clean and cozy. It was perfectly appointed with modern amenities, yet it still retained its classic coastal charm. Waking up to breathtaking views of the water right from our room was the highlight of the trip. The innkeepers were incredibly accommodating. A huge bonus for us was the kayaks on the property. The availability of clean lifejackets was a plus. We can’t wait to go back and relax."

"The room was clean except for a faded lipstick stain on the headboard of the bed. Bed was comfortable and pillows medium soft. Staff was Friendly. Water pressure in shower was perfect (weird, but true). I would stay again, as it’s half the price of Foxwoods hotels and less than 5min straight drive down the road."

"The property was in the process of being updated there was minimal disruption in our stay. A few annoying things, the ice machine did not work and the room cards had to be reprogrammed a few times..the painters and workers were very courteous and helpful.. we stay here often during the year ."

"Woke up in the morning with water leaking through the ceiling, flooding my room and making it unusable. I notified the front desk person and asked for a rebate on the price I paid for the room, but they refused and offered no other useful redress. Also, the included breakfast was probably the worst I have ever seen in my life. Overall, an absolutely dismal experience. These people don't care about their guests. Avoid."
