"What a great location! Walking distance to UVA's central campus, to Main Street, to the hospital. Valet parking only, which usually drives me nuts but the staff here was so quick with grabbing my car that I didn't mind. Friendly and happy to recommend restaurants. Great cafe on property and a bar in the main building, which we didn't try but looked gorgeous. Fantastically comfortable bed. Would absolutely stay here again. "

"Although the Postcard Cabin had its quirks, overall the stay was not satisfactory. When we first arrived, everything seemed really nice and picture perfect. We turned the fan on and saw all the little extra details added for this experience. The fan turned on and off every 5 minutes, we tried to turn it off, but it would not budge. Then at night we tried to shower, I saw the sign that said limited water, but there was hot water for 4 minutes and then it automatically turned freezing cold. It was quite a shock at such a late hour. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable and we found some ladies hair behind where our heads lay. We understand that people have used this location before us, but this hair was in plain sight (we don't have long black hair). Lastly, not sure what the high property fee was for, because this spot was definitely not worth the amount I paid a night. Overall, we would not choose to return to this spot due to the high price and lower quality than expected. "

"Facility and staff were good. But the room was not. Room was very out dated. Bathroom was terrible it smelled and there was mold on the ceiling. The tub would fill because the drain was clogged. Very small bathroom. The pillow on the bed were so uncomfortable. For the amount of money I spent it was not worth it. "

"Only front desk person on property and Clyde couldn’t be bothered if you needed anything! Had to asked for a trash a for our suite room everyday 4 nights and still never received one! The maid spoke zero English! She only spoke French. The Hotel itself is a good location but for the price you pay you would think they could clean your room or bring you a trash can. "

"Great amenities. Enjoyed the spa, steam room, bar,falcon class, hiking trails and more. I was surprised the heated pools were open in February next time I'm bringing my bathing suit for some winter swimming. Our room was in the 700 building overlooking the lake. It did have a mini fridge that was a nice surprise. It didn't have elevator so conceige kindly carried my luggage up the stairs to the second floor. Our room did have an updated bathroom and a small outdoor balcony overlooking the lake. I would book the same room again for the privacy and views our balcony had. I wish there was vending machines as advertised on the first floor as I was craving a snack when in my room. I ended up going to the wellness center to grab a snack and had fun watching people play tennis and climb the rock wall. Thanks for having Tesla chargers on site. We will be back! "
