"Location 3 mins fr leaving JR Numazu station. Room n bed okay n normal japan size. Breadfasy is pkay considering it comes with yhe room. Small simple onsen. Theres daily welcome drink from 6-8pm, and good selection of drinks. Surrounding is a little less vibrant than bigger cities. But adequate."

We booked the room with the private hot spring bath for two nights, and it was so worth it! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a small outside deck seating area. It was nice to sit outside and hear the wind move through the bamboo trees or the sounds of the river. "The room was beautiful with a patio that overlooked the lush hillside. The dining area was pleasant and the food was good. The onsen, however, could stand some refurbishment. The hotel advertises late checkout but I was told that 11:00 am constitutes late checkout. This seems like a bit of a scam to me. Made my departure more rushed than a I planned for it to be."

"The onsen Ryoken is a famous one in Japan as the Japanese Emperors had stayed at the estate for a few times. We stayed at a room with private onsen which is excellent. The food was also great and we had a great time."

"The hôtel is in the middle of the Izu Island and allows to start some visits on both sides . It is essential to have a car - the restaurants are available within 10 min drive . The breakfast is good but a lot of people - expect some waiting - Hotel works together with the La Forêt hotel and sharing some facilities ( ie. The pool on the Marriott side ) . The also organize massages in the hotel room - very good "
