"It was a lovely place to stay while in Dorset. It’s an 8 minute drive to the main Weymouth beach promenade. 36 minutes from Durdle Door, 46 minutes from Sherborne Castle.
The breakfast is really good and we left with full tummies ready for an adventure. However you do have to share a table with other guests at breakfast. If that is not your thing, maybe it’s not for you."

"Pleasant staff on arrival. Room adequate and clean.Communal carpets need a hoover.Bar is quite expensive which I suppose you expect within a hotel,Service with a smile might have been nice.If you want to use pool or gym extra charges which is alot extra especially if you had a family.Hotel is open to General public so Carvery was very busy,no parking at busy times like this,which is a bit unfair for residents. Buffet breakfast was a good selection.For the price we paid was perfectly acceptable...

"Lovely little gem of a hotel. Within walking distance to everything we wanted. Melaney was lovely and couldn’t have done enough for us. The homemade banana bread in the room on arrival was a lovely touch. Breakfast was superb and there were plenty of options including the option to have takeaway breakfast prepared to eat on the beach. We will be back soon! "

"This B&B was a wonderful find. The owners, Rosie and Simon, have done an amazing job of somehow managing to make the quality of the rooms, furnishings, toiletries, decor and breakfasts those of a luxury hotel whilst also providing the personal touch which made us feel as if we were being welcomed into their family home.
We can’t think of a single thing that could be improved and have already recommended The Heritage B&B to our friends and family.

"The location of the property was great very close to sea and town. The gentleman who checked us in was cheerful and helpful.
Unfortunately didn't get much sleep one of the other residents seemed to be up all night talking loudly with others.

"We were allowed in a bit early as we came by train. The owner Sue is super friendly as were her staff We were right on the beach and could leave the sash windows open for air and to hear the sea.
Breakfast was hot and excellent and it’s right next to 2 restaurants with a corner shop behind.
The main Sandy beach is only 10 minutes away and the shops are only 15 minutes away

"Just returned from a 3 night stay at Oaklands. The hotel is under new ownership (Ingrid and Ben) and the service has not suffered. In fact I would say it’s improved, Both Ingrid and Ben make you very welcome and nothing was too much.
Look forward to retuning in the future.

"Das gute zuerst: der Strand ist direkt über die Straße zu erreichen und wir hatten das Glück, einen Parkplatz (gebührenpflichtig) direkt vor der Tür zu bekommen.
Uns wurde ein Zimmer im DG zugewiesen, zu welchem wir trotz Aufzug noch eine enge Treppe hinauf mussten. Es war dort betörend heiß, es gab keinen Ventilator oder eine Klimaanlage, die Fenster konnten waren nur kleinen Spalt hochgeschoben und konnten nicht bewegt werden, da sie defekt waren."
