It's an older motel property that was upgraded and rooms remodeled, and I think $700+ for two nights was overpriced. They did serve a continental breakfast that was ok, if you wanted something light. "This hotel is on a large property with a spacious courtyard. Our room had a small balcony which we enjoyed. Hearst Castle, Elephant Seals (and Otters!), the light house, and Moonstone beach are all short drives away. Parking is easy. We had an issue with the first room we were given, but the front desk quickly assigned us to another room. They ask to let them know if you are arriving late.
