"I was hit by something on the freeway that caused a slashed tire and coolant leak. I called and gave a notice of late checkin and then let them know that the repair was still happening and could I move the stay one day, as I couldn’t get there (weekend repair in a small town). She said no, it was past the checkin time, despite previously telling me I could call back re: a check in beyond 11pm. Expedia called them to request they allow me to move the reservation by one day due to the circumstances, but they were told there were no rooms. Disappointed that I needed up without a trip to this hotel, and likely won’t book there again."
