"A little run down but rooms were clean and comfortable. I wish the first floor had a screen door because the weather allows for fresh air rather than using the a/c. Breakfast area very small and gets very crowded. Simple offerings only of waffles or toast"

"We had a great stay at the Hampton Inn San Simeon while visiting Hearst Castle. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the location was very convenient. The breakfast was good, and the coffee was amazing and always fresh. We’d definitely stay here again!"

"I felt like our room needed some extra cleaning (vacuuming better, cobwebs and our bathroom screen was disgustingly filthy). Was disappointed that our shear curtains were missing on the front window, and as our room was warm you couldn't get outside air from the window without everyone looking straight into your room. Brie was very helpful by getting us a fan. The property was very clean and we always had an open parking space. The bed was very comfortable! We have been coming here every August for the past 13 years and as we're getting older I'm realizing the toilets are very low to the ground. I do love Ocean Pointe Ranch and highly recommend!"
