The hotel itself is clean and in a decent area, but the beds/pillows were extremely uncomfortable. The heating unit was very loud (which I know some people can’t handle), and one elevator was broken. We waited so long we eventually carried our luggage up the stairs. We booked a standard double bed room for 4 people (1 adult, 3 kids), but they put us in a handicap room and said they couldn’t move us. I liked that I could login to my Netflix account on the TV, but I hated that the sink/mirror was inside the actual bathroom (personal preference).
I also only booked this hotel because it had an indoor pool/hot tub. When we were checking in, the woman working said she had shut them down. When I asked why, she said “because I shut them down.” When I asked what time they’d reopen in the morning hoping my kids could swim before checkout, she told me “I shut them down” and kept just throwing her hands into the air. That was it. Zero explanations and no empathy at all when I explained how devastated my kids would be and I simply was asking a reason.
Overall, this place isn’t terrible, but I won’t stay again. Also, when I reached out to Expedia about my issues, all they could do was provide a $25 credit. The hotel itself said there was nothing they could do.
