We loved our stay here and will be back. Staff were outstanding, so helpful. Great location for an event at Carter-Finley or a hockey game. Room was perfect!
Clean and comfortable room, plenty of pillows and the A/C worked like a charm. Shower was always hot water available. The breakfast at $12 is not a value. A great location and super close to the State Fairgrounds.
I stayed at this hotel while sitting for the bar exam. This was a great location for various reasons but price, cleanliness, and distance from the test site were major.
Used this hotel on a trip to the State Fair. Location was great, and it was a walkable distance to one of the fair gates. We arrived about 11:00 am and since a clean room was available, the front desk offered to let us check in immediately, so that we wouldn't have to do it when we got back late in the evening. We weren't even going to ask, since asking to check in hours ahead of official check-in time is almost never granted. The front desk staff were so cheerful and pleasant. As we were getting ready to walk to the fair, one of the front desk clerks, Michelle, was leaving her shift for the day, and she offered to give us a ride to the fair in her own car. What an angel, and what an excellent way to represent the hotel! Thank you, Michelle, we greatly appreciated the ride and the chance to speak with you! (And I hope I spelled your name right! :))
Back at the hotel, the rooms were large, clean, and QUIET - perfect after 12 hours of fair sights and sounds. The room had two nice windows with double shades that can block out light completely, let in muted daylight, or open completely. Room temp was great. Beds/pillows were very comfortable. Would look forward to staying there again, if the need arises.
