The East Lancs Railway, north of Manchester, had the honour of being the first public run of the newly restored Flying Scotsman, the first locomotive to exceed 100 mph nearly 100 years ago. Great hotel, helpful staff, funky interior styling. The location was great, a short walk from Victoria or Piccadilly. Would definitely stay again.

Clean room, parking was close by. Staff lovely. We had dinner last night and breakfast this morning. Plenty of choice and food was lovely. Would recommend and definitely stay again. Comfy bed, and plenty tea, coffee and other accessories included. Thankyou

I booked this hotel for one of our staff who stays in Manchester every week for work. I have used various Hotels over the previous months and he has recently told me that wherever possible could I book this hotel as it is the best he stays in.

a very central hotel for Manchester, lovely big apartments, very clean, pool was excellent and a nice addition. meanly complaint would be only one lift working so took a long time to get to our room every time.
