"This was a great place to stay. Rooms are small, but has to be expected, considering it’s New York City. But this was a great little boutique hotel in Chinatown and the location was excellent. The only thing I had an issue with was we had trouble getting hot water for showers. Other than that this place was amazing."

"The room smelled like urine. It is small, dirty and incredibly run down—every facet. The windows are so old that there’s no insulation against noise. When sirens go off, they might as well be in the room with you. The location is great, but the cost vs the status of the room is not at all fairly calibrated. I would not recommend this property. To anyone."

The location couldn't be better, right in the heart of the Financial District, with easy access to everything we wanted to see and do. "The Pod 51 is not for people who need space in their rooms. The hotel is staffed by a very nice and helpful crew. I would consider staying there again, but the room size is a deterrent. The neighborhood is great."
