"What a lovely find , spend only one night but I was very impressed , the bar garden is delightful , my room was very comfortable with lots of room . Dinner and wine were on the expensive side , but worth it for a treat . Will definitely stay again if I’m in the area !"

"Check in was seamless and I was greeted with a welcoming smile. Due to my needs I require a certain room, as this was not available upon check in, they made my room change the next day and made sure all the front desk staff were aware. I really appreciated this, so I didn’t have to keep repeating myself. The staff always greeted you with a hello and a smile and the room was clean and fresh to high standards. I always make sure I stay here when working in Bedford and look forward to staying again...

"Rooms were clean and fresh and breakfast was very good. What wasn’t so good was that bath towel was damp, either from not being changed or not dried thoroughly. We found the mattress quite hard and sleeping was not helped by the people above us running round at 12:30 pm- assume it was children,"

"Lovely brick building from 1902 retaining all its old charm. Now a modern pub/hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had food that evening which was very good. Wine and beer prices were quite step but that's par for the course nowadays!!! The bedroom was well appointed etc. All in all, a great stay there."

"Check in was quick and efficient. Being able to park for no additional charge was great. Great location for all the main parts of Peterborough. Room was exceptionally silent the whole day and night. A few doors in the morning but that's to be expected. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was lovely and clean. Nets at the window and black out curtains. "We had a family bedroom with two beds in a quite spacious room above reception. The room was ok but a little tired. Hotel is on the outskirts of Peterborough and we stayed there for easy access to Burghley house and Stamford Village which are 20 to 30 minute drive away.
