"We love the Palmer House! This is our “go to” hotel when we travel to Chicago. It is close to theaters, concert halls, Michigan Ave with museums, restaurants, parks, etc. The hotel lobby is incredible! A great place to relax, have a beverage, people watch, and enjoy.
The room we recently stayed in was beautiful! We were surprised with a suite and so much room to enjoy."

"This property is in an excellent location. Can walk anywhere downtown. When our first room had a broken air conditioner, within minutes we were moved to another floor with working air. Nice having a good restaurant right next door and a Starbucks around the corner. The building is old but cleaning staff did a beautiful job."

"wifi wouldn’t connect, when we called the front desk to ask (I had work I needed to do, and specifically checked before booking that the room included wifi) was met with attitude to “just connect” even though the wifi network wasn’t visible or available.
also, you have no control over the temperature of your room, and TV is only regular cable - I wasn’t able to stream anything due to the lack of wifi. no vending machines as well.

"Great location. Michigan avenue very close. Plenty of restaurants close by. Staff very considerate. For example, I returned to the restaurant and my hands were full. A staff member noticed and not only called the elevator but accessed my floor (required a key card). Room was very nice. Surprisingly large with a separate living area and large bathroom."
