Gaia Hotel & Spa Redding, an Ascend Collection Hotel
Nice little gem of a hotel off I-5 that wasn’t a chain. The restaurant was nice and the food was great. My only criticism is the pool is very small and there was only one lounge chair and it was broken. I had a nice view from my room with the fountain and pond right outside.

Comfort Suites Redding - Shasta Lake
It stay was very nice. The room was clean and comfortable. I love the fact the coffee pot is a Keurig so I can bring my own coffee. It is wonderful to have such a nice hotel that allows my dog.

Best Western Plus Hilltop Inn
The hotel could use some updates and specifically sound proofing.it may not be so bad towards the front of the hotel, but in the back where I was, it was rough. Not only due to the freeway noise but I could also hear my neighbors as if I was sharing a room with them.
