"small town hospitality and okay breakfast, clean room"

"The staff was fine, but the quality of the room was lacking- especially given the price. The view from our singular window was of an RV lot and there was an unpleasant odor in the room. It was old and not well maintained. We will not stay here again. There are much better locations and accommodations available at this price."

"We were greeted by our contact person, Gail, who is friendly and personable. And a terrific artist as you will see when you are on the property. This is a very cute, fun and artsy apartment. We used the bedroom at the front of the house and found it roomy and the bed is very comfortable. The water pressure is outstanding and the hot water arrives almost instantly. The kitchen is fully stocked. Just bring your own food. We will definitely book a room here when we are near Winchester Bay again."

"Breakfast was meh, room only turned over every 3 days instead of daily. For the $ spent per night I felt this was substandard. Otherwise very clean and had everything you need, staff was exceptionally helpful and a great location."

"Clean room. A bit out of town but view of the ocean. Laundry requires an app where you have to put set amount of money in so not real convenient as probably won’t use again so some money sitting. Nice pool and hot tub area. Play area for kids but not available during our stay."

"This room was absolutely filthy. Rat droppings in every corner and behind all furniture, blood stained blankets, IV drug use supplies in the nightstand. Staff refused to refund even though we left 15 minutes after we arrived. Expedia refused to refund despite photograph evidence and a receipt from the other model we stayed at last night. Absolutely do not recommend staying at this motel and absolutely encourage you to book via a service that will actually back the customer."

"Room was clean. Convenient location to stores and restaurants. Low cost. The toilet was child height. WiFi was extremely weak. No major news or movie channels on tv. Directly on main road so traffic is very loud. Ice machine was not working."

"Staff was very friendly and helpful. I had trouble turning on tv with remote. Staff came and helped. Could not lower volume so had to mute. Hotel was a Super 8 before. That was access for Internet. Furniture was worn down but usable. Mold on caulking. I feel they tried to fix up/repair the hotel."
