"We were greeted by a friendly staff member. Our room was clean and fresh. We took advantage of the continental breakfast."

"Glad I stayed here through a tornado warning. Nice old hotel with lots of original features. The lack of a front desk person and the inability to use the elevator (though I did not try since prior reviews said it had to be operated by one of them) dinged this hotel. I had no trouble parking, but I arrived late and left early."

"The property is in need of renovations - and some are happening! That is wonderful! What isn't wonderful is booking a room at a hotel where work is being done when the fact that work is being done is not advertised! Beware, if you book a room there, they may be hanging drywall to the wall right behind your headboard while you're trying to get some rest!"

"staff was great. the place is under renovation but construction is everywhere in the building. hot water in the shower is almost luke warm. and even after staff cleaned the room ants continued to be a problem."
