"Nice remodel after the hurricane; the Tiki Bar was never replaced. The rooms are nice and the A/C works well. It seems the refrigerators were scaled down, but again no real issue. The problem with this hotel, even years later, is the simple things they could get right. Not having an icemaker for the entire hotel? No excuse for this - only one of the two elevators working? These were the reasons I stopped staying here a couple years ago, and the fact that these simple things are not addressed speaks to the lax standards of the owners. A decent place on the beach at a decent cost - too bad, because it could be a great hotel."

"I recently stayed at this hotel for an overnight visit. Overall, it was a convenient place to stay, with very friendly staff, a nice beach view, and a good breakfast. There were a few issues during my stay. The bathroom did not have hand soap, and there was no extra toilet paper provided. The pool was quite sandy both in the evening when we arrived (after 4 PM) and the following morning. It appeared that cleaning didn’t begin until around 11 AM, and the pool was also very cold, which made it difficult to enjoy. The balcony sliding door was very difficult to open and close. Additionally, beach access from the pool area was unavailable due to a caved-in section of the back parking lot that was closed off. We had to walk a block to find an alternate walkway to the beach. Despite these inconveniences, the hotel served its purpose well for a short stay. I already have another visit planned in about a month and look forward to seeing improvements."

"Staff was awesome- super friendly and helpful from the valet to front desk to market cashier and patio bartender! Got upgraded to an ovean-front room with wraparound terrace, which was fab!! Room could use major upgrade. Carpet and couch were dingy and old (as in, we were careful not to sit on couch at all), but bed was pretty comfortable and sheets were clean and fragrance-free (bonus!) Felt like a 3-star resort, not 4. "

"Good stay at the beach with the family. Just step on the beach right of the hotel. Will come back again. A little outdated but it was fine for us!"

"My daughter and I had a girls weekend to go to the NCA competitions. The place itself was decent and clean. Although it is on the older side it was kept up. I know with the sea air it is hard to upkeep. The condo itself was ok. It was clean, decently decorated, and was stocked with necessities. My largest issue and struggle was the front door had one lock and it was a keyed lock, no way to dead bolt from the inside. Being it was just my daughter and myself I had no way of knowing who has a key and could just come in. Secondly, it was hard to close and there was lots of light coming in around the door. Simply said it didn’t feel secure and I was on edge all weekend."
