"The room was clean and cozy. We visited in summer months so we did not need the fireplace but it did make the room feel very cozy - we enjoyed the cookies at check in as well as the coffee and tea bar in the room. The bathroom was nice and roomy and the property was well maintained. Will stay again when in Tahoe"

"I really liked the convenience of self check in and out . The room was cute and cozy, it had all that we needed for our stay. It was also a clean space . The common kitchen was also great. Only thing was the slow wifi when we came back after being out , which is understandable since everyone was on it too. Other than that it was a pleasant stay. Had no issues which we didn't have to be in touch with the owners . Will stay here again ."

"Photos of room on Expedia are nothing like the room we had. 1950's bordello type room. Mirrors on the ceiling and walls. Rope light strung across the room so you wouldn't trip taking step up to the bed. Bathtub/spa circa 1970. Light switches not working. Ice machine not working. Dirty dingy carpets throughout the building. A total disappointment!"

"Terrible hotel to stay in. Very old. The shower curtains smell disgusting. There’s ants in the room. There’s no AC in the room, just two giants fans that are very loud and the room gets really hot in the summer. The staff doesn’t store your bags after check out making it difficult to lug them around if you’re not leaving the area right away. Save your money and stay somewhere with better reviews."

"Let’s start with the good: the location. You can walk to the beach and Heidi’s restaurant and a souvenir shop are right in the parking lot. Check in doesn’t start until 4 but by 8 it is after hours. The keys are left unsecured for you to pick up. I specifically booked a room that had one bed and a bunk bed. Expedia showed pics and we arrived to a room with 2 beds. When I called, they said they don’t have bunks anymore but offered a cot. The toilet did not flush well. We had to throw all our tp...

"Consider no internet. No antenna and when it does connect, it is so slow it doesn’t even load a page. No coffee maker in the room. Ok clean but the old look will throw you off. Staff were nice."

"The room appeared that it hadn't been cleaned for weeks. Black mold on the shower curtain, disgusting carpet that obviously hadn't been vacuumed for a while. I had booked for 4 nights and ended up staying only 3. Didn't get any maid service the entire time. The linens seemed to be clean which is the best I can say about it."
