"Very lovely romantic room with a slipper tub which we were not expecting! The staff are so helpful, my husband bumped his head and cut it and they gave us sticking plasters and antiseptic wipes! Husband said breakfast was wonderful. The best bit was the bed though - literally the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and the pillows were like clouds - so good I even asked the hotel to let me know where they buy them and they made the effort to do that and emailed me all the details. "It was perfect for a long weekend getaway. The location was great, and it was quiet and peaceful, even when the rest of the city was having a good time. My room was called Indulgence, and I was lucky to have a view, with large windows, of the sea and the small park outside. This proved to be extra useful as I wasn't feeling well one of the days and spent it fully in the room. "The location is good, within walking distance of the seafront and the town centre, and there are lots of cafes for breakfast nearby. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the shower room and toilet was very small. Parking is an issue, as available on street parking is a considerable walk away."

"What a brilliant hotel! Clean, spacious bedroom and bathroom with towels, shampoo, conditioner etc. Excellent location, opposite the i360. We walked from the station (through the lanes and along the seafront). Tea/coffee etc. "

"The hotel staff were amazing. We were there for the marathon and they allowed us to leave our luggage and then let us return later for a shower. It was an unexpected treat which we were so grateful for as it allowed us to freshen up and not have to drive home sweaty. Thank you"

"I arrived earlier that 3pm but the staff found a room that was ready so we could get settled sooner. Overall, we were happy with our stay, the breakfasts were really good, glad we paid for full breakfast as extra. location was also good. "

"Average stay, and at £400 for 2 nights it was disappointing! I was surprised at earplugs being provided, but hearing a club(?) behind the hotel empty their glass bins at 1, 2, 3 and 4am both nights it became obvious why! Room was tiny and mattress dreadfully lumpy, but bathroom was pleasant and clean. Receptionist at check in was nice but wasn’t asked if I would like to include breakfast or use the amenities. "The lift was out of order on my second morning when I was leaving. I had four bags with me which in total were too heavy to take down four flights of stairs in one trip. (I'm 76 and was on my own). Surely, lift maintenance should take place after all guests leaving that day had left. Fortunately, after a short wait, a member of staff helped me with my luggage to the car park. Room 407. "Really good place would try again. Problem was the room location overlooking a very noisy pub garden which was noisy to the early hours of Sunday morning. Would only stay again if a quieter room was available."
