"Was a nice spot local to stay for the night. Walking distance to a lot. Was clean. It is just an older hotel. Water took like 10 minutes to get hot, but at least it finally did. There are people living here full time."

"Very nice breakfast buffet included with the room. TV had minimal channels available compared to what we are used to, but it was fine. I would highly recommend this property if you are planning to go to the Channel Islands. It's very close to the Island Packers boat dock area and easy to get to. It's also very close to the 101 freeway but we weren't bothered by freeway noise at all."

"The Pierpont Inn established in 1910. Is a nice reasonably priced old hotel/motel. Good views of the ocean, close. To the beach and downtown amenities, . clean room, tidy but people need to know it is right next to the 101 freeway. Could not be closer for traffic noise and the visual distraction of traffic whizzing by at 70 mph. If cheap enough it works all day."

"The room was clean and comfortable. We were on the ocean side of building so freeway noise was very noticeable. The room was advertised as having a balcony. Don’t bother. It was an enclosed “nook” but hardly usable. The breakfast was good."

"Not good at all. Sticky surfaces everywhere, closet smelled like urine, an actual 4in hole was in a wall, etc. Thin walls, you can hear the neighbors and the loud road. The only positive thing was all of the bedding seemed clean (no stains, no bedbugs). I don't recommend for even one night. I got in late and decided to leave early in the morning, otherwise I would've eaten the cost and gone somewhere else."

"Checking in there was no office staff at the front, only a virtual check in. The room I was in was very small behind the office & was not a normal room. It was very worn down. As I pulled back the sheets, I saw a lot of black hairs and yellow stains on the sheets. I would not recommend this motel. "
