"I liked that everything was card only charges. I hated the bedroom head board or non existence of. Where was I supposed to put my pillow to rest my head for reading or using a tablet. Silly gap with a lovely picture did not work for us. Bed a bit hard but all in all okay."

"We stayed in a Deluxe Room the Mandarin Oriental Conservatorium for 5 nights, and we were disappointed. They put us on a floor that was undergoing renovations (our hallway was covered in painting tape and had unfinished light fixtures), and our room had non-functional ventilation and sparse seemingly unfinished decoration. "The hotel is located 21 minutes away from the airport via train and less than 17 minutes from Amsterdam Central via tram. Their staff members were very welcoming and insightful when answering my questions. The room was spacious, well-designed, and clean. Can’t ask for more, really. A very queer friendly hotel filled with a laundry room and a gym that will make your stay even better for those who are seeking for a long-term stay. Highly recommended for everyone."

"The look of the hotel itself was very nice. The aethestics and decor looked evelvated but the reception area was a bit weird to me. The reception are is just a large kitchen table area where two people sit there looking like two friends having a conversation. I was confused when I walked in. The amenities of free drinks and alcohol as well as free breakfast every morning was the best perk but outside of that I did not enjoy my experience at the hotel. "Unfortunately, the hotel cancelled our week long reservation since we were marked as “no shows” bc we checked in a day later (for some odd reason, our room showed as not ready yet when we tried to check in at 11 am so we left our bags and went about our day only to find out we didn’t have somewhere to sleep later that day). "This property is in a great location next to the van Gogh Museum, and walkable to many parts of Amsterdam Staff is phenomenal and the breakfast outstanding We booked a small room and it was small, but we knew that at the time. Most of the other rooms looked to be very good sized. There is an elevator, although some stairs have to be navigated to get up into the hotel. Overall, this is an outstanding property made even more so by the staff"
