"This was a bucket list stay for our trip to Wrigley Field. Hotel is gorgeous and the proximity to the field is unbeatable. Was a little surprised about no fridge or microwave in the room but we were told at check in they would bring one up if we needed…which makes sense from their perspective. The bagel shop on the ground level is great, but had a hard time locating a more traditional breakfast spot in close proximity. Had to walk quite a ways to find something. "If you stay at Hawthorn Terrace be prepared for doors slamming all hours of the night. Especially if you’re stuck on the floor. The staff closets and small breakfast room are there. Very annoying the way they stand out side the rooms talking and as I said slamming doors as they bring carts out. For the price there are way better experiences. I like to stay there because it’s close to my daughter’s house but next time will probably look into a different place. Just not worth the price."
