"The ocean was not visible from our room. We did not receive an upgrade as we thought we would - it was not offered at check in. We're we disappointed? No. We didn't spend that much time in our room. Too busy going out to see the sights of Vancouver! The hotel was lovely, and the staff very accommodating. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. "

"We stayed here while visiting Vancouver. Our room was clean and comfortable, and overall it was a pleasant stay. The free, secured parking was a huge plus and something we really appreciated. The only downside was that the walls are quite thin and you can hear almost everything going on in neighboring rooms and the hallway. We were planning to be up at 6 a.m., so it wasn’t a huge issue for us. However, if you have young kids or are hoping to sleep in, it may be something to keep in mind before booking. Overall, we did enjoy our stay."

"I had requested that the heat would be turned on in our room prior to our arrival at 10:00 pm on a late flight to Vancouver. When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk representative looked at my reservation and then further delayed us by starting to call someone, which turned out to be the maintenance staff to go turn our heat on. We got to our room finally only to discover a cold room and the heat setting at 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Shortly after we arrived at our rm, 2 maintenance staff showed up to turn heat on, which I already had done. We then had nonstop loud aircraft noise until about 2 am and then starting up at about 5 am. Woke up to discover only decaf coffee left in rm. very disappointed when I apprised the front desk person of these problems and got a very muted apology and was given a voucher for coffee in the lobby. Very disappointed with the overall customer service experience and stay."

"The location is perfect for tourists….close to restaurants, activities and shopping especially. The condition of the hotel is excellent…spotless in all areas. The staff, from cleaning staff and wait staff up to management is excellent…very friendly and extremely helpful."
