My husband and I booked this hotel last minute just to rest for a few hours during a long road trip. We checked in around 3 AM and checked out at approximately 11 AM. Unfortunately, from the moment we arrived, the experience was disappointing.
When we got to the front desk, the receptionist was nowhere to be found. We waited a long time before finally finding her stocking the snack area. When we approached her, she was rude and dismissive, even though we had already been standing there waiting to be checked in.
The king room we reserved wasn’t available, so we were given a room with two double beds. The room itself was not properly cleaned there was a dirty towel left in the bathroom floor and even a spider on one of the beds. Definitely not what you expect from a Westin.
The worst part came after checkout, when we were charged a $200 fee for “damaged bedding,” which is completely untrue. We immediately disputed this charge and provided photos showing the condition of the room as it was given to us. Even after presenting evidence, the hotel only refunded half the amount, which is unacceptable. We returned the room in the same condition we received it actually, probably better considering the state it was in.
This stay was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Poor housekeeping, unprofessional customer service, and an unfair charge made this experience frustrating and unacceptable. We will not be returning to this location and do not recommend it to others.
