"Complete disaster. It’s 3 blocks off highway which is not normally in the low emissions zone, but to be sure I called the day before was assured they were outside the zone. Pulled off the airport highway and at the traffic light 100m from hotel was the “low emissions zone “ sign and the camera - I will now pay 100 euros fine. Of course the desk staff when I checked in did nothing but tell be sorry I will get the fine."

"Excelente localización y muy cerca de la estación del tren en el área de El Capricho en Badajoz. El hotel estaba muy limpio y la comida es muy buena. Los empleados fueron muy amables y profesionales. El hotel cuenta con transporte desde el aeropuerto y por cinco euros te transportan de vuelta si así lo deseas. En caso de preferir un taxi, el personal se encarga de llamar. Excelente hotel."

"The property is close to the airport and far enough from the city to relax after a long day of excursions and walking. It's a beautiful property and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The shuttle that provides transportation form the airport and back to the hotel is great. We only encounter one driver that was super rude which we cut him slack thinking he was having a bad day. "I booked 5 nights at Senator Barajas Hotel (15/06/2026–20/06/2026), but I was only able to stay for 2 nights because of the excessive noise. During my stay, I could only sleep about 3–4 hours per night. On 17/06/2026, at around 2:00 AM, someone outside near the hotel was shouting very loudly and appeared to be asking for help.
