Doors did not close behind you properly and there was a gap around the door that you could see during the night as well as loud road noise from the highway. "Can’t say a lot because when we got there after traveling all day, they didn’t have a room for us., even though I made reservations awhile ago. Other guests stayed an extra night. Manager was nice about it. They put us in a room at another property they own, very close, but still had to go somewhere else. Days Inn. Manager actually followed us over there to make sure we had no problems checking in. Give him credit for that. But… room had no toiletries, had to go back and get soap. Forgot to ask...

"We had a problem when we first got there. Our key card would not work and we were fighting with the door for about 10 mins. Boyfriend went to go get another key and I see a woman peeking out from behind the curtain in the window. I asked her if she was staying in that room and she came to the door and we spoke. Felt terrible because we woke her. Boyfriend comes back around the corner with the original key card and the person behind the desk only to find out that yes that room was already given...

"The staff was attentive and answered my husband's question about more water bottles before he even asked. We were greeted by a wonderful clean scent when we entered the hotel and a warm welcome by the front desk Customer Service person. Our room was cool, comfortable, & clean. "First the positives. The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. Parking was fine. I think the problem that I had with Spark is that it's listed as a Hilton facility. This raises expectations. Honestly, it's more like what you would expect from a nice Super-8 than a Hilton. The carpet and furnishings are very bare-bones. The pool is tiny. Breakfast is nothing to write home about. With the exception of two of the staff, most of the staff were just barely cordial. The rooms...
