"My room was as expected. Clean, Tidy and just the right size for one occupant. The staff were great and i had some good conversations with them. They were very knowledgeable about the area. The one downside (not their fault) was that the wifi was not working. I work remotely so this was a big issue for me. The surrounding area has some great little eateries and the barber next door gave me a great haircut and a shave for 15 euros....I love Nice and this was a nice spot.......Not sure that I saw...

"Comfortable and happy stay at Mama Shelter. The bed was super comfy! Staff are very welcoming and friendly. A little walk from tram stop and seafront but very near Nice Riquier station - perfect for day trips - and only a few minutes from a good range of restaurants and bars. Buffet breakfast decent with a good amount of choice. Options for the restaurant and terrace menus are a but decent.
The room had no kettle so way of making hot drinks, which is disappointing, and surprising given the...

"Have stayed at this hotel 2-3 times per year for over 10years. They change ownership for approximately 2years ago. The new owner has improved it a lot. Breakfast more chose, bar and dinner. Clean and fresh rooms.

"good points are that it is located close to a tram station, and the staff is efficient and welcoming. On the other hand - (twin) beds very narrow, rooms on street side are noisy (windows far from soundproof), general aspect is "cheap". I called the day before to make sure they would have a car park - at check in they told me the car park was full... not confident to park in the street in those suburbs surroundings..."
