"I wanted to like this hotel, but we were disappointed by how old the mattresses and furniture were. Sadly there was no sitting area/sofa in living area, just the trundle bed and a basic table with chairs. The location and balcony view were very beautiful and the host was nice and welcoming, and it was very clean, so that was much appreciated. However the listing said a 4 star hotel so we were a bit disappointed with the situation."

"We stayed in Minta at Castello Risano as a family of 4. Anna was a great host, super helpful & always available for questions. The pool was a great bonus for the kids, especially with the heat! Great location for peace & quiet although if you're a super nervous driver it may not be for you as the road is steep & single track but two-way. "AMAZING!! The host, Radohia (and his lovely mother) were so kind and helpful. Very polite, very knowledgable and willing to go the extra mile to provide valuable information on sightseeing and dining, as well as coming to the rescue when needed. "The villa is beautifully renovated. The room was clean & comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. Unfortunately the wifi frustratingly continually dropped out & the tv had no reception. The owner said it was because of a storm but I'm not convinced about that.The parking was easy, however, if you are a nervous driver, be warned, the road from Kotor is a single lane with 2 way traffic. It is a beautiful location."
