Before arriving we were called and told that they had to move our room to the carriage house due to a septic issue with the main manor. The carriage house is a smaller building on the property. "This property was great! We are already talking about going back during the summer. The highlight of our trip was the lake beach. Our kids enjoyed it, as we were lucky to have very nice weather in April. They got to play in the shallow end! The property itself is very clean, modern, and cozy. The property owner was very responsive leading up to our trip and during our stay! We had a great, relaxing getaway and didn’t want to leave. We hope to return soon! "

"The rooms were nice and the hotel was better than I expected. However, the posted policy in the room says that rooms will receive housekeeping service every other day. By the time that day came, my sheets needed to be washed, so I stripped the bed and put them by the door. Housekeeping did not bring in new linens nor make the bed. They only emptied the trash cans. To me that is very subpar housekeeping service. I regret tipping the housekeeper using their electronic method before seeing...

"We had a wonderful stay at the Frog 🐸 Town Inn. My Wife & I only stay one evening and enjoyed a peaceful and quiet nights rest in the most comfortable bed! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and will be back another time to try the dinner at the restaurant Butter. This was especially special to me to be here because my grandfather use to own this inn many years ago when I was a boy. To be inside again and walk the property, the memories just came right back. We Loved the owners Mark and Carol!...

"This was our third stay at Magnolia, the staff at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. The stream is beautiful and they just opened a restaurant. The food was really good. My only complaint is a cleanliness. I would suggest that they do some quality control around the cleanliness because the lodge was not clean. The floor was extremely dirty. There was some hair in the top. I didn’t feel comfortable using the kitchen because it was not clean.. just something to focus on moving forward....

"The updated signs will be helpful when they are finished to know where things are, but the staff was super polite and helpful. Our family room was very nice and clean and easy to get to with parking right by the room. Our only negative experience was out of the property control with the neighboring room being extremely loud getting in at 1 a.m. We are still giving 5 stars because the property was nice, away from the hustle, but still convenient to everything. "
