"I have now stayed here 3times in 6 weeks I love the place staff brilliant I travel to watch Wigan at rugby league 230 miles each time as for the beds the most comfortable I have had and I do not stay in the same room different each time wake up really refreshed love the place"

Access around the building is one way but to exit you have to go through a locked gate and you need a code - as a guest who has just arrived you don't have this info. "When checking in, I was told I had been allocated a room in the adjoining building, which as someone who had just had spinal surgery, the extra walking didn’t suit me at all. After they found me a room in the main building, I discovered it had an extra 2 beds in it, which left not a lot of room space. "No wi fi available. . Room basic, with bed ,1 plastic chair ,1 plastic stool no sofa. No amenities apart from a Kettle, no cups but were given.2 paper cups and t and coffee when asked at reception. 2 bath towels but no hand towels. Tiny bar of soap and 2 sachets of shower wash. Bed rock hard and very uncomfortable. When stripping bed in morning, to save cleaners a little time , discoverd why we were pulling at the quilt all night...it was a single quilt sideways in a king sized cover! ...

"In our Family Room, the bedsettee mattress was about 4 inches/10cm lower at the shoulders than the lower part of the mattress. Had to use all the towels to try to level it out a little otherwise their head was far too low!!"

The staff catered for everyone considering it was a very busy weekend. The food was fresh and plentiful. The only disappointment was the dinner menu but was adequate. We would use this Holiday Inn again when in the area. My family have used it each time as well. "

"Stayed there for 10 days. Great location, nice room but house keeping & service seriously required huge improvements. On day 2 or 3 my own face towel was missing from the bathroom. I reported it to the receptionist. 3 times. No update until I checked out. On day 7, I was asked to move due to leakage in AC & promised an upgrade but turned out it was only two drinks coupons. "This was our first visit to the hotel. From the moment we checked in, we found the staff extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel its self, is extremely clean, beautiful clean spacious room, very comfortable bed,and the food excellent. We will certainly be returning in the near future. The staff treated every guest, as if they were the only guests. A truly pleasurable stay. Thank you. "

"Room was newly renovated and very spacious. Gym and pool were excellent, best gym I’ve ever seen as a hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we slept awfully, the hotel/room above us was so noisy. All we could hear all evening and through the night was the tv, banging and snoring. "

"Clean room liked the idea of two duvets on the bed, all the staff we came in contact with were extremely polite.
