Eastwind Hotel Lake Placid

"Couples trip to Lake Placid with a lovely stay at Eastwind Hotel which was just outside the busier downtown but very easily accessible/walkable. We were there for 2 nights with a busy agenda and sadly did not take advantage of the fire pit, complimentary smores or sauna. The staff was helpful making recommendations about dinner location and if asked seemed very knowledgeable about the area and could have helped with hikes etc too. Our room was fun and retro. The location was quiet and we rested well after long days. The only detriment for some would be the lack of elevator to get to the second floor. If we return to Lake Placid we would definitely stay again and hopefully have the time and energy to take advantage of the extras!"

"The Devlin was very comfortable. The room was clean with a terrific view of the mountains. Location was ideal for visiting downtown Lake Placid and an excellent jumping off point to visit the local area to include the Keene Valley and Whiteface Mountain, etc"

"Staff was great. Helpful and attentive. The cabin we stayed in was beautiful and perfect location after hiking all day. Multiple fire pits were relaxing. Staff went above and beyond with hot chocolate, snacks and lighting gas fire pit. Would recommend staying here."

"This was such a nice and peaceful place to stay. Although I never once saw a member of staff, I didn’t need to. Everything was ready for us and well communicated. If I needed someone, I knew how to contact them. The room was so cute and cozy, the bed was the MOST comfortable bed I have EVER slept in. The bathroom towels were a dream, all of the decor was intentional and authentic. I would absolutely go back and recommend to others. We only slept there so I would be curious to see the rest of the property and use the other amenities during the height of the season."

"Beautiful resort! The premium room on the 5th floor with view of Mirror Lake was absolutely stunning and was amazing to wake up and watch the sunrise over Mirror Lake! Kids loved the lemonade and fresh baked cookies in the lobby in the evening and the little town with shops made for a perfect evening in walking distance. Very nice indoor pool and hot tub. Very clean and well maintained."
