"The bedrooms are aged and in need of refurbishment. The location and views are lovely and dining hall clean but for the cost of the room I would have expected better quality. The pillow was non existent. We arrived late and reception closes at 11pm and no one appears to be available after this time to allow check in or on site to deal with any issues should they arise."

After a very warm welcome, we were personally escorted to our room, where everything was explained—no need to read manuals. We were also offered coffee in the lovely coffee corner opposite the room. "Clean room, friendly staff. Great locaton. Just a 5 minute walk to both main lifts and the town centre. Breakfast fresh but not good for a vegan diet. I did let the hotel know in advance but there was very little-just bread and fruit. I asked for beans but they had fixed days for them and wouldn't do them for me on the other days. I bought my own yoghurt and supplies from the local Spar. There is a fridge for guests to use."
