Step into the grandeur of the Rochester Opera House, where history and entertainment collide in spectacular fashion. Stroll through the charming Rochester Common or explore Baxter Lake's serene shores for a perfect blend of culture and nature.
Friendly staff and good restaurant and bar - we ate at the Spaulding Steak and Ale - really decent steak and good beer too. Pleasant grounds and the garage, which had live bands that night is really close. Easy walk into the centre of Rochester as well. Recommended.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. There is nothing we can say that is bad about it and we think anyone thinking of staying in this area would really enjoy their stay as we did.
Mike the manager was really helpful to us and so was the rest of the staff, the room was clean and breakfast was enough for us.
We are really grateful to the staff for making our stay a great one! Thank you all.

Arrived from the UK for a short stay to see friends, very helpful check-in staff, rooms were spacious, bed was comfortable, the all inclusive breakfast is a nice added touch and a good way to start the morning. Will return in the future.

Great venue. Clean, tidy, spacious and all the amenities you could ask for. Great location as well, nice and quiet but not too far from local services.

Wow, four poster beds so high you need steps to climb into them. I felt as though I was taking part in an amazing film set. Hunting trophies adorned the walls along with old photographs and pith helmets. Lovely and comfortable rooms.
Quaint bathroom too.

These cabins are amazing. Nothing extravagant but Everything you need for a stay in the woods. As the cabins are remote check in, the cabin number and access code are normally text 30 mins before check in. However i was worried as i only had a data SIM card and no US number. I messaged a couple of days before to ask for them to be emailed to me in stead. The communication was excellent. We did have to message again at 4 to get the the details. The cabin itself was clearly well used but really...
