"It's a really nice place....people nice and helpful.....but, my lord, food is expensive and pretty mediocre. I am given to believe that's the nature of all of Palau so don't know that this should reflect on the hotel Solely. The Drop Off restaurant very close by has cheaper and better food "

"Disappointing since I stayed there a long time ago. It’s under new management who have not kept up the hotel. The restaurant and bars are closed. The complimentary breakfast consisted of hard boiled eggs, white toast —no jam, butter, rce jook, spicey rice noodles, picked vegetables, cabbage slaw, Black Chinese tea. They tried to accommodate me with instant coffee and milk. Workers are nice. Basically for Chinese visitors. "

"The driver hired to take me to the hotel was easily seen. Check in was quick and room ready. Any issue with the Room they addressed immediately. The water was warm for the shower. Bed very comfortable lots of places to store your luggage. The fridge and freezer worked well. Walking distance to the museums and souvenir shops. Lots of choices for places to eat and grocery stores. Beach is not walkable."

"I can’t say enough about the 4S Explorer. 4S service and dining (mostly) on a dive boat There are other water activities for non divers but Palau is for diving ! I’ve been diving for 30 years and this was hands down the best diving I’ve ever done. I only wish I had a few more days Already planning for the return trip. Not easy to get to Palau, but honestly, that is part of the charm and the dive sites aren’t over run with tourists"

"Staff was great. Room lived up to expectations. Staff was always going out of their way to help everyone and ask if they were enjoying their stay. They communicated very effectively. "The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. We stayed as a family of 3. Lovely cold airconditioning in the rooms and some great in ground pools and jacuzzis. If you're up for a walk, a big shopping centre is only 10 mins walk away. The National Museum is next door, which is worth a visit. Great gift shop too! Some small shops near the hotel to stock up on beers and refreshments and a taxi ride to and from restaurants can be arranged for around...
