"Great Staff and super helpful. Location is super central but also shielded from noise etc. through being at the end of the island. Breakfast and drinks on the river terrace are great Wessam was amazingly helpful and it is no surprise that he has been at the hotel for years. "We loved the stay here, clean rooms, well designed in all small aspects. The roof top restaurant with Giza pyramids beautiful view is very convenient option for dinner after a long tour day. The staff were ready to arrange everything you need, tours, taxis as you wished. Our guide Ahmed was great, very professional, knowledgeable and took us to places with great enthusiasm and took us to shops we would have not found ourselves. When we wanted a bigger car after first day, they immediately changed us to bigger and new car which was awesome. Overall great option if you are looking for reasonable costs, nice people and safe stay and want everything arranged for you for convenience, this is a great place!"

"The Novotel was very nice! However the complementary airport pickup requires you to call the shuttle to know you are there. The documentation didn’t tell us that. Also, our friends booked a room which INcluded the buffet dinner (& breakfast?) and it was less expensive. Compare your options. We had a great experience here and enjoyed the outside Italian grill restaurant. The pictures on the site were spot on. We would consider staying here again."

"The check-in at 1am was very smooth and the guy at the desk was so processional, welcoming and smiling. We were given a room with Nile view on the 15th floor which was really nice. The room was large and bed was comfortable. There was kettle for tea/coffee and tea bags, water bottles etc; we were given more every time we requested. The room was clean and the whole hotel was clean, though the carpets were a bit dated. The breakfast spread was superb and choices were really extensive. The man who made omelettes was very nice.The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much. There was a lot of security in the hotel too. The hotel itself is beautiful as it was a palace once and we got a guided tour of the palace which was very informative. The only slight negative was the speed of service during breakfast. We stayed for 4 nights and on 3 days we were not even asked about tea or coffee during breakfast. When we asked for hot coffee and hot milk, they came at different times and late so not enjoyable. The other negative was the housekeeping don’t check the toiletries level in the big bottles. First day there was no shower gel so we had to wait for 20 minutes to get one. On the last day we asked for hair conditioner which was totally empty and we waited for 1 hour before we got it. Unfortunately I had already gone out by that time to buy one for my wife who was in the shower. Having said that the overall experience was great and would definitely recommend this place. "
