"Great stay loved it. There is a dine in restaurant on the lake. The only surprise was a napkin fee of 30 euros for a small dessert of 14 euros. Not a major issue though."

"This is a grand palatial hotel, it’s very beautiful sat right at the top of a large hill. In its day it would have been an amazing place to stay. Now a tad dated but still a lovely place to stay. All the staff are friendly, very professional and generous. I had a corner room with a small balcony and superb view of lake Varese. My room was big and the bathroom clean. The only difficult part if you stay a while and plan to eat out (rather than in the grand restaurant) is that there’s no easy way...

"Luxury! The suite was beautiful and comfortable. Our patio had a gorgeous view of the lake and city. I would have loved to stay longer. Aside from being fairly near the train station and the Italian restaurant across the way, there isn't much nearby. We did hike the trail behind the hotel to the top of the mountain, and that was lovely. The receptionist was very helpful in coordinating and explaining our transit options to Lake Como."

"Hôtel Palace magnifique début 20ème. Il a gardé son cachet avec une galerie d’art par étage. Nous y sentons son histoire riche de ces occupants illustres. Accueil et service au niveau d’un 5 étoiles. À tester le bar Hemingway. Les chambres restent dans le thème de l’hôtel. Le petit déjeuner est très bien fourni. La déception vient du niveau de la cuisine , qui n’est absolument pas au niveau du lieu. C’est bien dommage ! "

"The best and most amazing hotel staff I have ever experienced. The hospitality and genuine care they showed us was unforgettable. During a public transportation strike, they went out of their way to help us navigate the city. We were there for our wedding and honeymoon photos, and when taxis refused to take us for such a short distance while my wife was in her wedding dress, the staff stepped in without hesitation. One of them even drove us in their personal car so my wife did not have to walk...

"Bellissima struttura, accogliente e molto riservata. Le camere sono situate in una costruzione nuova, vicino all’aeroporto. Nel mio caso ho soggiornato per motivi di lavoro, ma la trovo perfetta anche per un weekend o per altre trasferte. Molto comodo il garage di proprietà, ideale per lasciare l’auto in totale sicurezza. Tutto perfetto: erano presenti persino le ciabatte. Che dire… sicuramente tornerò in questa struttura."
