Best Hotel In Rome

This is my second time at the hotel. When I arrived I said it was my favorite hotel in Rome, and it remains so. I was treated like a queen. The space is stunning. Everything is thought of, every detail. People are nice. The food for breakfast is wonderful. I love the linens. I love the flatware. The design. It's a marvelous place to land if you need to de-stress. The only critique I have is of the room location; when I booked it was at the location across the alley which I prefer for its quieter noise levels. This room faced the Corso, so I heard non-stop foot traffic, talking, music from the shops below, etc. I had finished the work I had to do for the portion of my business trip that had me in Rome by the time I got to the hotel, so the noise in the end did not disrupt that, but were I to have been working, it would have been impossible. And still, I do prefer complete quiet. It's why I liked GKK so much in the original location, so in the future I would prefer that location, or a room that does not face the Corso, either one.

Beautiful hotel close to Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Easy access to Metro. The amenities were very generous and it was one of the nicest bathrooms that I have ever seen in a hotel. My only regret it that we could not stay longer.

Excellent top notch high quality hotel. We would love to stay at this property again and would recommend it to everyone. The only negative thing is that we had breakfast with our hotel reservation and we had to prove it twice for them to finally correct it . Not sure why it was not sorted out the first time. Left us feeling a bit disappointed as we had to fight for what we paid for.

Helt klart nöjd.

Rummets/hotellets renlighet var perfekt. Toppmodernt & stilfullt. Servicekvalitet: Underbar. Hotellbekvämligheter. Fanns verkligen inget att anmärka på. Läget var nära restauranger & shopping. Hotellet finns i 2 byggnader som ligger på en bakgata vilket gör att man inte störs av kvällslivet ut på den stora gågata som ligger precis bredvid. Bodde själv i den del som inte är huvudbyggnad. Där var det lite väl lyhört.. Hörde tex när det pratades i de andra rummen.. När rummet ovanför spolade & tömde jacuzzin på vatten. Vi hade oturen att få en vattenläcka i taket från AC:n. Fick dock snabbt 2 nya rum & kunde byta tillbaka dagen efter. Extrasängen vi fick i vår Jr svit var lite för kort för en vuxen. Men helheten gör att vi var väldigt nöjda med vistelsen & skulle gladeligen komma tillbaka.

Great boutique hotel in Rome

GKK is awesome. With just 6 rooms, the staff is attentive and friendly, getting to know you personally and happy to sit and chat. Located at the north end of the "tourist area", it is an easy walk to the Spanish Steps, the Medici villa, Piazza del Popolo and the original tomb of Augustus and only 30 minutes or so to the Colosseum and Vatican. Breakfast each morning can be customized from a list of options and the small lobby bar can server your nightcap. Definitely worth considering for your couples or small family trip to Rome.

Perfect location in luxury and comfort

We had a wonderfull weekend at GKK. First, the hotel is very new and looks great. All luxury you can imagine from great bed, wonderful bathrooms, a Nespresso maker and full mini bar waiting for you. Staff is amazing from the minute we arrived until we left. Location could not be better as everything is walking distance (25 min walk to Colosseum, 8 min to Spanish steps etc.) We only took a cab from/to airport during 4 days. Breakfast is served in the room every morning and you have a great selection of choices that you pick the night before. Very quiet location with no noise of traffic. AC works so well that we actually turned it off at night. First time in Rome, but this will be our go to spot next time we come back.

Perfect, Quiet Space

Everything was absolutely perfect. A delightful, small, well-maintained space with real intimacy and quiet. The sheets are comfortable, the bath linens perfect, and the amenities in the minibar all that I needed. The location is right in the heart of it all, but without any of the noise and traffic. Adore this place. I'm going to be making it my go-to hotel for the rest of my business (and holiday) trips.

Ideal boutique hotel - great location

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend in February '17, and can't rate the hotel highly enough. We actually extended our 3 night stay to 4 as we just weren't ready to leave! I have been to Rome a few times before however, it was his first time and the hotel really contributed to making the trip memorable. Location is great - just a couple of minutes from the spanish steps, and walking distance from the coliseum, trevi, vatican etc. Room was large and very clean, with a lot of thoughtful touches such as straighteners, manicure set, charging doc etc. Tvs in the bedroom and bathroom, and the mini bar was well stocked and completely free. Staff were very helpful and friendly, especially since we arrived in the midst of a taxi strike - offering travel advice and printing tickets etc. Truly nothing to fault, thanks for a great stay. We look forward to our next.
