"Didnt check in until 7pm but room wasnt ready and we ended up having to share a kingsize room, which i was not very happy with.the next day we had to bring all our stuff down and leave there, so i had to carry my backpack around all day with my valuables in as i could see luggage could be left, but it wasnt supervised and anyone could get at it.not a happy srart to my sisters birthday celebrations.wouldnt reccomend to friends"

Felt v relaxed in the living room but the bedroom with en-suite and a dressing area made it feel large and comfortable.. Large kitchen with table for 2. Far better and so much more than a hotel room. "This hotel is not 5 star, it’s more like1 star. It’s very worn, poor quality furnishings and overall is extremely tired. I recently booked and when I arrived and saw the room refused to stay. The hotel wouldn’t refund or even make a gesture so do not book non refundable. I was allocated room 8 and it was like the worst B&B from the 80’s. "Traditional old establishment with many original features. Clean room, breakfast good, staff very polite and helpful. Having parking in bath was a plus. The location is also good proving the opportunity to walk down to the town, with the option to walk back or take the bus which stops right outside the door. Will we return - YES"

"Reception staff initially a little frosty as we arrived ahead of check in time because we were going to an event. However once we explained that we didn’t expect our room to be ready and that we just wanted to leave our bags they were much friendlier and then went out of their way to find a room that had already been cleaned so that we could go straight to the room "
