"This hotel is not 5 star, it’s more like1 star. It’s very worn, poor quality furnishings and overall is extremely tired. I recently booked and when I arrived and saw the room refused to stay. The hotel wouldn’t refund or even make a gesture so do not book non refundable. I was allocated room 8 and it was like the worst B&B from the 80’s. "Lovely hotel in central location. Lounges and bedroom uniquely decorated. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only downside was the cleaners didn’t seem to clean the rugs in the bedroom "

"Loved our stay here - lovely room and great breakfast. Does need a better set up for doing hair and make up as the plugs are not near the mirror and the lighting isn’t great for this. Otherwise great place to stay. 15- 20 min walk into the city centre. "

"In the heart of Bath with a rustic and charismatic feel. Fantastic gin bar opposite the front door and restaurants, bars, cinema and Sainsburys close by (100-500 meters). Steep and narrow staircase to the loft apartment. Two large bedrooms, spacious liver, kitchen diner and a bathroom. The internet is slow but did not spoil a wonderful stay. "
