"Good things, staff were friendly, bar was ok, cooked breakfast was good. Bad things, bed not too comfortable, towels not changed or room cleaned in a 4 night stay, breakfast not available until 8am, rather run down Hotel is quirky, fairly central to Rotherham but up a hill, behind other buildings No evening meals as suggested, but you could get a takeaway or have food delivered and sit at their tables"

"When I arrived to check in, the receptionist couldn’t find my reservation because I had already been checked in. This meant it took a bit longer than expected to check in. "

"Rooms are well appointed and clean with comfortable, large beds. The quality of food at breakfast was good, but hotel was very busy and there were not enough staff on to keep the breakfast buffet replenished and clear tables, and seating was at a premium. A little chaotic. The hotel is undergoing refurbishment and so these issues may well resolve. There is a car park which is run privately and you have to pay for. It’s not really large enough for a hotel of that size."

"The staff were genuinely excellent—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed. They were kind to accommodate my request for a late checkout when I was running late. The room itself was spotless and well-maintained, which immediately put me at ease. Housekeeping clearly does a great job here, and everything felt fresh and comfortable throughout my stay. Location was good for me as I drove up there, there was enough parking spots. However, just for breakfast, there could be a few more options. Overall a great stay, I would definitely recommend."

"Bathroom to the front of hotel of which was the only place which had a window you could open, but no blind so we did not sleep well. The lights from outside shining in and then the Sun rising. We did close the bathroom door but the room was so hot and stuffy. "
