"Beautiful place to stay with luxurious rooms and a great location. Didn't realise though that there was no breakfast on offer - was a bit inconvenient. But otherwise a great place to stay."

"Lovely hotel shabby chicbut you don’t worry about as pets are allowed ! Staff lovely and Tea & coffee etc free 24/7 plus free cake at 3pm ish… close to everything and a great view if your on a sea view room. Huge family rooms bathrooms are a little small but still OK would defo go back 9/10 ! Bad bit iPads for check in don’t work loose them not needed staff are much nice reception ! "

"Comfortable bed, some noise from people on the landing as there was a gap at the bottom of the door but this was only a minor inconvenience. Friendly staff, plenty of teacand coffee in the room too."

"Hotel rooms were, perhaps, typical of an older hotel, decorations a bit tired - as were carpets - but adequate. Our first room had a large stain on the bathroom ceiling which the staff identified and arranged our move to a bigger and better room. This really impressed us because it didn't require any complaining from us. Quite how it should be. All in all the staff were excellent and we really enjoyed our stay. We would certainly visit again."

"Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Lounge area was lovely and if it had soft music playing would have been even better. This hotel is not for people who have difficulty with slopes or steps as it’s on the top of a hill and a fair walk from anything. The hotel rooms (we had a sea view room) are tired and need painting and mould and mildew spraying in the bathroom. The bed was comfy and the bedding and towels clean and soft.
