"Overall the property was very clean and everything was brand new. Great location and close walk to every where. Only down fall was the kitchen didn't have as many pots and pans if you wanted to cook a family meal. The iron was not working but we got a replacement the next day. The ceiling in the bedroom upstairs was quite low and became quite warm. The property does not have air con except for a fan in the living room. We took an additional fan with us which helped. I would recommend this...

"Clean and comfortable room. Perfect location with short walk to The Hoe and Barbican. There are eight car park spaces on a first come basis. We were able to get one as we arrived at the earliest checkin. We would definitely stay again."

"Very quick and easy check-in. Comfortable bed & pillows. I like the lighting scheme. A sparse hanging space but quite adequate for transients on the move. Sufficient plugs available. Breakfast was pretty good. I would be happy to stay again."

"I am sure some years ago this was a 4 star property now it’s 2.5. Older rooms poor AC carpets like an old pub. Yeah it was ok at best, but for 200+ a night …. I was glad I booked only 1 night."

"The breakfast was good, and the people running it were nice and the breakfast room was pretty. Unfortunately that's where it ends, it didn't feel like a B&B, but like a hostel, the shower and bathroom were very dirty and absolutely tiny, it was nigh-on impossible to get into the shower the space was so small. I was also not given good information about which toilet to use (as in, I was told to use one which I later found out in the middle of the night was locked and I had to roam around to find...

"No one came to clean/empty bins etc for the length of our stay. It was very noisy. Constant doors banging in the middle of the night. Some drunk person knocking on the door after 9.30 pm. Reception staff were fine, but had to request clean towels/extra toilet paper."

"We stayed as a family of 4 in a superior apartment. The apartment itself is lovely and has been decorated really modern with nice touches. Unfortunately the cleanliness of the apartment could have been better for me. The sofa bed bedding was all in a ball in a cupboard, none of it was folded up or placed nicely so the bedding and pillows had dust and bits of rubbish on.
