"This funky, family-friendly complex was a change of pace from my wife’s and my usual condo/hotel stays. Lava Lava Beach Club restaurant and nightly music, plus beachfront, were awesome. Amenities were sadly mostly overrun by teenagers and younger kids, and only available very early and hit-and-miss late. Parking/valet is congested and sometimes nightmarish, if “free.” That said, we enjoyed plenty of beach time, breezy balcony relaxation, and a few moments in the great hot tub, unfortunately usually packed. Staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive to conditions. Sand was swept vacuumed away regularly, for example, from the open-air stairways and passages."
