Eventually braved the rain and went to the property, no reply when I rang the bell. Looked on-line for possible other contact number to see that the property was closed. As the town was busy that weekend there was no affordable places for me and my daughter to stay so the only option we had was to head to train station and buy tickets to return to Newcastle. This...

"I stayed in this hotel room and it was ridiculously hot to the point of being unbearable. The air conditioning either didn’t work or was completely ineffective, and the room felt like a sauna all night. I wasn’t able to sleep at all, which completely ruined my stay. For the price I paid, this is unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here until they fix their temperature control issues."

"Tricky getting in as room code was wrong but very helpful lady on the phone sorted it. Great there is parking and brilliant location. At night I was woken up by a clattering of crockery and we could also hear people talking which seemed to be coming out of bathroom vent which was odd. Amazing air conditioning unit and room space etc was ideal for a couple of nights."

"A hidden gem!! We booked one night at The Station whilst working locally and it was fantastic! Check in was easy, convenient parking and the room was stunning! The kitchenette was a fantastic addition. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked to come back 2 days later. Our go to place now when visiting Coventry. So peaceful and gorgeously designed!"

"Positives: location/gym &24h/great size fridge Negatives: dirty walls/doors/ dusty floors The WiFi was terrible, didn’t work properly The air conditioning in one of the rooms was not working properly. There is a police opposite the hotel, so except to hear sirens! The tv only had one channel. One of the staff was friendly at the start but when we had an issue with the air conditioner her attitude turned very quickly as she didn’t wanted to deal with it."

"Room was cool! And staff was nice! However, it was in a terrible part of town (trash and homeless people everywhere). There was an alarm that went off constantly somewhere across the road. It was a bit difficult to find. We had to go around a few times to find it. But it was a short walk to the canals!"
