"I booked this hotel through expedia and did not realize they had a no cancellation within 24 hours which is fine however I was suppose to drive to vancouver the day of the reservation and the roads were closed due to a forest fire on Hiway 1 , the only alternative route was 5 more hours. I could not make it on time to get to my reservation and asked that they cancel it as the road was closed and there were more fires in the area. They flatly said sorry , you find a way to get here or you lose...
