"We chose Montmartre because we only had 1.5 days in Paris. Wanted something that wasn't too far from the airport, but would also give us easy access to the main attractions. We also wanted to be in more of a neighborhood than a tourist area. The hotel is not marked well, even our taxi driver wasn't sure if he was dropping us off in the correct spot. We did like the neighborhood. Lots of local places to eat and grab drinks, we really enjoyed that. It felt safe (as far as large city safe goes), we still kept our eyes open and a general awareness that we were in a big city. The hotel had two keypad locks, which was nice. One at the very outer door on the street and a second before entrance to the hotel. The front desk is not manned with regularity so be sure to check the hours. We booked a family room (there was a door that led to a space too small to be called a hallway, more closet sized space) and then two rooms. The main room had a small kitchenette, decent sized bathroom and very small bedroom area. The second room had a very small bathroom and a very small bedroom. It was so small the only place to put our suitcases (carry on size) was under the bed. The shower drain was clogged and my husband had to clean it out as it was flooding the bathroom floor. Not going to lie, it is pretty gross to clean other people's hair out of a hotel bathroom drain just so you can shower. Overall I would stay in the Montmartre neighborhood again, but would choose a different hotel"

"I had a very nice time at Maison La Boheme. But, you need to be aware of a couple of things. Because this is an "aparthotel," it means there is no front desk, no interaction with a front office staff, and nowhere to go if you want to ask anything in person. There's a concierge, who is reachably by email. It's more of an apartment, rather than a hotel, and if you like that sort of thing, you'll love this place. I was on the top floor (of three floors), and there's no lift. 35 steps to get up to my room. Again, if you don't mind that, it's great. The rooms are superb. Even my little studio was unexpectedly spacious, and you can't really tell that from the web site photos. Really charming, really comfortable. You access the hotel about 20 feet down a secret little alleyway-street, enter a code on a keypad, and you're instantly isolated from the absolute chaos of Place Du Tertre. If you're going anywhere off the top of the hill, there are stairs. A LOT of them. Be ready for extensive stair climbing when you return to your room after a long day of Paris adventures. If the giant stairways are too much, take the funiculare, by Sacre Coeur. It is totally worth it. In conclusion, a wonderful place. You should definitely consider it, and it's different than a standard hotel stay, which can be a lot of fun."

"As a solo traveler the supreme sized room was spacious and included a desk, chair and nice sized bedding. All of the hotel staff that I encountered was friendly and willing to handle any of my questions! Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in this part of Paris. "

"We stayed for 10 days/Nights (2 Adults/1 baby). Loved the location, made key attractions in Paris very walkable as it was close to Moulin Rouge, about 1.8km from the Opera House. We primarily walked and only used Uber/Bolt for to and from the airport as we could walk to all sites we wanted to in Paris. Old building but kept very clean and our room was regularly cleaned. Helpful and kind staff which even had set up a pack and play for our baby to sleep in prior to our check in, which was very helpful. Very small elevator but worked well to bring bags up and down levels, if you are claustrophobic this elevator wouldn’t be for you. There are lots of places nearby to eat at (take away or eat in), a grocery store and bakery that take 1-3 minutes to walk to. Only minor issue was that we could not control AC in our room and were told by staff that unfortunately they don’t turn AC on until June/July/August. Our room was comfortable temperature wise but for a few days got warm as we were on the top floor. Would highly recommend to stay here for your stay in Paris as location was ideal, staff friendly and cleanliness of hotel was high. Would stay here again for a long or short stay in Paris."

"In a wonderful neighborhood just steps away from Rue des Martyrs. Sacre Ceour basilica and Montmartre are right up the hill. Great bistros, boulangeries, and cafes right by the hotel. Loved our stay!"

"Absolutely lovely overnight stay in Paris. From the beginning the staff were welcoming and attentive and always available. The whole hotel looked newly refurbished, it was stylish, quiet and incredibly comfortable, beautiful bedroom and bathroom with all amenities that you could need, but the highlight of the stay was the small balcony (room 601) with stunning rooftops views of the area and the Eiffel Tower, especially magical at night when it sparkles. It was also great to sit out there early morning and listen to Paris wake up. Metro station nearby to take you to all the sights. Would definately return and highly recommend."
