"Initially, when I got there, I thought it was going to be a great experience, but my room was raggedy as hell. 😩 The walls were dirty, and they wouldn’t even switch my room. I’ve stayed at some really nice hotels, so I definitely expected better. The rooftop bar was AMAZING and probably the highlight of the stay, but the hotel itself is outdated, and the furniture definitely needs to be replaced. 😩"

"You can smell the history along with the musty damp old walls. The charge for facility fees is ridiculous. Rooms are small. No room for anything near the sink. Good location is only positive."

"My teenagers and I enjoyed our time at Freehand Chicago. They really enjoyed staying in the bunk beds, which were very comfortable. Each bed has a light and outlets - perfect for charging stuff. The location was perfect for exploring the city. The staff was great! Very helpful when checking in (really the only time we interacted with them). Air conditioning worked great. The shower water pressure was great. I question if the little curtains between the beds have ever been washed, but that was...
