"Two things are paramount to me for a hotel room. The bed and bathroom. The bed and pillows at the double tree were excellent and I had the best sleep of my trip during the stay in this hotel. All Hiltons should follow the standard of bed and pillow quality that is at this hotel! The bathroom was nice but the water pressure was a bit low. It was also a little bit cramped with the layout but I would not trade the extra room we had in the sleeping area for a bigger bathroom. It simply got...

"This hotel is right in the Rapid City downtown and location is the best to explore the coffee houses and restaurants. Worked well for our 4th of july visit. The Mt Rushmore, Custer State Park, Sylvan Lake and Needles are like 30-40 mins away. Highly recommended."

Loved the options provided and the kitchen staff did a wonderful job always checking to see if any of the food options needed to be refilled. "There was nothing unique I always stay at Hampton Inn, this hotel had the quality of most Hampton Inn's that I stay at. The staff, were good, the food was good ( lots of choices). hotel was clean. I had no problems at all."

"Breakfast was really poor - no orange juice with one watered down perhaps cranberry juice as the only option, waffle batter also seemed watered down, poor cereal choices, very small cups for coffee and water/juice. There was a couch and chair sitting in a hallway - neither appropriate or safe for quick exit if needed. "The sign for the front was broken so I thought the property was abandoned at first. The caretaker was incredibly friendly and the lobby had cats, so that was nice. The other tenants of the building are boisterous, but friendly enough. While it's definitely a downscale/scuzzy sort of place, it didn't feel uncomfortable to stay."
