"The staff was friendly. Unfortunately the hotel is dated and not just aesthetically. It needs a deep clean (literally) and refresh throughout. The conference level with pool had an unpleasant smell (not chlorine, a mix of other things - like water damage/mold). The orange/brown carpets in our room was worn and did not seem to be as clean as it should be. It has potential but I will not be staying here again. "
"My stay at this location was the worst I have ever experienced. While the manager was exception she was only one person which is also an issue for what we experienced. My room was $268 and the excessive noise after hours, kicking on my door throwing buckets of ice by teenage boys well past 11pm that were not supervised by their parents was completely unacceptable .There was also an 84 year old man staying on the same floor with his terminally ill wife and we both came out of rooms to see what the issue was. the kids were so loud (8-12 kids) that he had to yell to get their attention and even then they did not settle down. I was harrassed by these kids because my room was beside the elevators and the ice machine. The kids I am sure ruined several guests stay, Then ar 8am this morning they were knocking on my door and running away. I understand kids are kids, but this was horrible experience and if the management could see past haqving only one staff member to man a 4 floor hotel with that many guests then perhaps I would have had a different experience. We also had a late check out but with only getting a short night's sleep we checked out once the knocking began this morning. I feel I should be compensated for my stay and so should Mr. Turner of room 419. I was in room 403. The staff did apologize but still that ruined our whole day and stay."
"Stay was great. Owners were very nice and breakfast was great. Only issue is that sheets didn’t seem to be fresh clean. They were probably old carrying used smell. I guess this could be part of ‘bed and breakfast’ experience we are not used to. If the place had new and fresh sheets I’d give it 5 stars."
