Good stay in a great spot in the middle of town and close to everything.
The room was clean and cosy with heaters. The bathroom was okay with a bathtub without curtains as a shower which was not perfect. Hot water was running out really quick. View was nice when the fog was not present. Service was really good! The owner is omnipresent and is very helpful with information. He provided resourceful tours, but make sure to ask for a proper english speaking tour guide! a good 7.5-8 on 10
Horrible horrible experience. The room had bed bugs so we ended up leaving as soon as we discovered it on our first night. Not to mention there is no heat and barely hot water.

A pleasant hotel in a good location. Friendly and helpful staff. Our room had a lovely private balcony with a great view.
Very comfortable stay. The hotel’s address is on one of the main roads in Sapa but in reality is up a driveway set back from that road which made it a little difficult to find initially.
The hotel manager and the staff in general were all very helpful and always had a smile.
This place was great! The bath tub in our room was really nice, and so was the fireplace. The only complaint I have is that it was difficult to find. It has the same address as a hotel that has been gutted and is under construction. At first we thought that was it. Actually it is up a small alley next to the listed address.
Very good hotel

Simple & clean with a nice view
Clean simple accommodations. Rock hard bed. Excellenet views from the top floor. Fairly central location. Very good cooked to order breakfast, good coffee!
I wished we had read the reviews before booking this... Some of the bad reviews are pretty much spot on... as with the good reviews, I can't possibly imagine how anyone would give it 5 stars??? I think the pictures shown on expedia are a bit misleading...The entrance up to the hotel was under construction. When we were shown the 2 rooms that we had booked, we were shocked to find them both dirty, damp and smelly. We immediately brought to their attention that one of the rooms had a serious plumbing issue. After failed attempts at fixing it, they offered a change of room. As for the other room which smelt of sewage, they said they would only change rooms if we paid for an upgrade... The room was damp and we found mold and mildew on the bedsheets. They tried to mask the smell with air fresheners but the stench returned after a couple of hours. The manager/ owner told us we could rent a heater from them which would dry the moisture in the air and get rid of some of the smell...! Outrageous...! We felt he made limited attempt to make our stay comfortable. Then he tried to sell us tours at a much higher price than quotes we got from other companies... The floor and the bathtub looked as though they had not been cleaned at all. We stayed for 2 nights and decided to forgo the 3rd night and book at another hotel... You are better off going somewhere else for a similiar price....
We spent three nights in a very nice room with great views and a private balcony. This hotel is well run and centrally located. The staff, service, and breakfast were excellent for a very reasonable price. I would stay again.
