"Loved our 5 night stay. Room was always cleaned by friendly staff. Front desk check in was very efficient. Amazing free coffee in the lobby whenever you want it.We stayed ground floor in back of hotel nice and quiet. The only complaint was tight parking on a slope close to the room.How ever there are more spots up further up in upper parking lot. Would definitely recommend staying here."

"Our first impression was good, until we noticed all the stains on the carpet in our room. The Lady Byng room. They may have been cleaned, but the stains remained.
The breakfast, including the presentation, was lovely.
The lounge was lovely with interesting artifacts.
Parking was convenient.
I went to the office at 10:45 on the morning of our departure to buy some coffee; the office sign said closed from 11-4."

"Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!"

"It is a beautiful building. They definitely were not lying about the amount of stairs. The room was on the smaller side but that was to be expected with an older house. Each room had its own bathroom and the only complaints I would have would be the lack of hot water on our last morning. Most days you just had to run the water a bit to get hot water to the top floor but our last day was a cold shower."

Room is located in a heritage house. Our room was on the main floor and sound does travel from hallways and upper floors, but it did not affect our enjoyment. The bed was quite comfortable and room was clean. It would have been nice to have an electrical outlet in the bathroom, or a mirror in the main room near an outlet.
